Social Media Marketing Tips

One of the most important things I’ve learned over the years of building my business is that as awesome as Social Media is, it can be a huge time suck.

And before you know it, you’ve spent ALL DAY online and you’ve generated minimal results...

Or am I the only one that’s been there?

So of course I had to figure out a way to sell my products and services without spending all day on my computer and having messages back and forth with potential customers.

I’m breaking down the steps so you can see how simple my social media strategy is.

#1 Pick Your Platform

First thing you want to do is stick to one platform and put all your focus there.

If you’re on EVERY social media platform all the time, you’re going to be spread too thin.

Especially if you’re in the beginning phases of growing your business.

You’ll want to pick the platform where you’re people are already hanging out.

So if that’s on Facebook start there. If it’s Instagram, start there.

And stay focused there UNTIL you get traction.

Then and ONLY then can you start to focus on a 2nd platform.

#2 Understand who your perfect customer/client is

Before you even start posting on social media you need to know who you’re posting for.

Why?

Because you could have the best product in the world, but if you’re trying to sell it to the wrong person, you’ll make no sales whatsoever.

That’s why understanding who your ideal customer avatar is, is SO important.

#3 What is your main money maker

When you’re growing your business on social media you have to be congruent with everything that you do.

From the posts you’re posting, to the people you are posting it for, to the products you are selling.

Everything has to tie in and make sense.

You need to know:

Why you are posting.

Who you’re serving?

What is the goal that you’re trying to accomplish with every post?

#4 Come up with 30 pieces of posts for one month

Sit down one day out of the month and carve out around 90 minutes to plan out content ideas to post on social media.

I only do this once a month. I block out 90 minutes and I plan out what I’ll be posting for the month.

This way I’m not challenged every day with trying to come up with what to post.

 #5 Time block your day

It’s important to time block your day so that you have time to work on your money making activities.

Now here are the four things that you want to make sure you are showing up and doing on social media every day are as follow:

Warm Up The Algorithm (5-10 mins)
Comment, Like and Engage with other people’s content

Create and Publish Your Social Media Post
(5-10 mins) Share it on your other Social Media channels for extra exposure

Engage, Like & Comment Back (5-10 mins)
You want to start conversations with the people that engage on your post. Try your best to start a two way conversation. You will be rewarded with more people seeing your post when you can get some good action on it.

Active Asking & Follow Up (30-60 mins)

This is the exact social media plan I would follow if I was starting from scratch or all over again in my business.

Did you get some value from this social media marketing training? I hope you did because each post I put my heart into making sure you get some good value so you can rock it in your business while creating a life you love.

Should I buy leads for my business?

Everyone wants to know where to get more leads right? Well, in this post I am going to share how you get home business leads from three separate places. By the way, did you know that the masses believe you cannot build a home business unless you have home business leads and money? Go getters just figure out where to get leads and money, there IS a difference.

Most Don’t Start with Existing Home Business Leads

If you are going around town crying because you don’t have any home business leads to talk to, there is no wonder why you are not succeeding. If I thought I had to have existing home business leads and money to build a serious business, well, I guess I never would have.

The Difference between Winners and Whiners

Whiners complain about what they don’t have and don’t know. Winners figure out how to get what they don’t have and learn what they don’t know. Because of the low cost of entry of network marketing, there is a plethora of people that would fall into the whiners category. Fortunately, no whiners read my blog as they think I am yelling at them so congrats on being a winner!

3 Ways to Get Home Business Leads

With an estimated 95% of people dissatisfied with their jobs and their quality of life, why do we STILL struggle to get Home Business leads? Well, it is because we are too vague and make it way too complicated. Here are three quick ways to get leads for your home business:

1. How to Generate Home Business Leads

You have to determine the level of ability to do this in your area but one great way how to generate home business leads is through either bandit signs or sticky notes. Bandit signs are those colorful outdoor signs you see along the highway or busy intersections. You can also place fliers and brochures around your town or community.

2. How to Go Get More Home Business Leads

One quick way get your pipeline going is attend a bunch of meetups or local events in my area.  I love this approach as only people who want something MORE in their life will bother attending events and that is a lot easier type of person to talk to than someone who is NOT motivated to network or build their business.

3. Where to Buy Home Business Leads

OK, so some people will say NEVER buy Home Business leads. I think there are a few cases where you SHOULD buy them and I will explain what I mean. If you:

1. Suck on the phone or are terrified to talk to your warm market
2. Need more experience on the phone
3. Want to get your business going like yesterday

Then why not buy some Home Business leads? I know people that ONLY buy home business leads and that is how they built their business. The place that I suggest to buy home business leads is here – www.hbbleads.net. Let me give you a word of caution so you understand how purchased home based business leads work…

The Truth About Buying Home Based Business Leads

Bought home business leads are still not going to be laydown sales, you WILL still need to talk to them, qualify them and move them along in the process. When  you receive the email that you have a new lead in, call them and ask them how you can help, if they are nasty or negative, just get off the phone. Never, whether you bought the lead or not, try to convert someone who is nasty or negative, it just is not worth your time.

Get them to watch a company presentation and then ask them what they liked about what they saw. One of the, if not THE, best question to ask a bought home business lead is: “What has recently changed in your life that has you open to a home business?” This question is frigging awesome to get them to open up.

Here are some suggestions on following up and connecting with leads..

This is a basic suggestion to start out calling either bought leads or leads that you have generated:

  1. Notice their area code and make a comment, google the area code if you need to. “Hey, I see your area code is Dallas, is that where you are from or is that where you live?” Awesome, I have friends that live there, or, I’ve always wanted to visit, or, I was just there for a team event not too long ago” Say something that sounds natural to loosen it up a bit.
  2. Get to the point. The reason for my call is I see that you recently entered your information to learn more about starting a home business, is that something you are still serious about or have you already found a way to make extra money from home?
  3. Use a tool. You should not be explaining everything about your opportunity or whatever it is you have to sell over the phone, point them to a video, sizzle call, event in their area, anything but you try to explain it all over the phone. You can say “The first step to see if this is even a fit for you is to watch our short overview video at ________________”
  4. Set the follow up. As you can imagine there are a lot of people wanting to earn more money from home so we stay pretty busy but I can follow up with you at either 2:15 or 3:20 today, which one works better for you?

There are lots of other suggestions that can go into calling bought leads but this should help you out to get started!

Power of Positive Thinking

Developing a positive attitude can truly change your entire life.

Developing a positive attitude can help you in more ways than you might realize.

When you think positive thoughts, you don’t allow your mind (conscious or subconscious) to entertain any negative thoughts or doubts.

When you have a mind filled with positive thoughts life goes smoothly, and you feel more optimistic and confident.

To develop this kind of positive thinking you have to be willing to change your thought process.

You have to be willing to change your attitude and beliefs.

You have to let go of a lot of negative thinking and negative perceptions.

If you’re willing to do that then you can create some real, positive changes in your life.

You’ll also be able to develop the kind of positive mental state that will lead to greater success, more joy, happiness and fulfillment.

Here are a few things you can do to develop the power of positive thinking:

✔️Remove negative thoughts as they come up.

✔️Expect positive results and positive outcomes.

✔️Read positive and inspiring books, less too much of bad news.

✔️Choose to say positive things during conversations. Avoid getting into negative conversations.

✔️Develop positive self-talk. Tell yourself: “I can, I know how to, anything is possible, yes I can”.

✔️Keep a positive frame of mind, think about the end result and see it as successful.

✔️Take time out of your day to just have some fun, do something just for the fun of it - this brings more joy.

Things may not be working out right now, but as you begin to practice and apply positive thinking you’ll start to see some real changes and things will start going your way.

You can achieve anything you want. Believe in yourself and believe in your ability.

Start applying positive thinking everyday and you’ll enjoy a happier and more rewarding life.

You can achieve your goals.

You can succeed with zero talent!

10 WAYS TO SUCCEED WITH ZERO TALENT
You don't need to be the smartest or most talented person to achieve success in life. Often it's the seemingly simple things that can make a significant difference. These 10 things are things anyone can do. They don't cost money but they do require intentionality and effort.

1. Be On Time – Honor others by respecting their time. Earning respect starts by giving it.

2. Show Up and Do the Work - If they praise you, show up and do the work. If they criticize you, show up and do the work. If no one even notices you, just show up and do the work. Just keep showing up, doing the work, and leading the way.

3. Give Your Best In All That You Do – It doesn't matter what everyone else is or isn't doing. Focus on your contribution every day. When you give your best, you'll inspire others to give their best too.

4. Be Positively Contagious - Your attitude is contagious. Choose to be Vitamin C today. Look for opportunities to encourage and uplift those around you.

5. Have an Attitude of Gratitude – Every day we have a choice. We can choose to be grateful and see the good in all that we have or we can let anger, fear, doubt, and insecurities rob us of our joy and the life we're meant to live. The choice is yours today.

6. Seek Solutions vs. Dwelling on Problems – How you see the world determines the world you see. When you seek solutions you see a world of possibilities and are able to overcome challenges.

7. Have Passion – Passion fuels your purpose. The strongest may survive but it is the passionate that will thrive. Get excited today!

8. Be Coachable - Stay humble and hungry and be a lifelong learner. The best of the best are always striving to get better and so should you.

9. Do More Than What’s Required – Average effort generates average results. If you want more, do more. Even a little extra each day can create big results over time.

10. Believe in Yourself – Stop listening to the self-sabotaging voices in your mind. Talk to yourself and feed the positive instead of listening to negative. You matter. You are capable. You can do great things. You are here for a reason.

What would you add to this list? Feel free to share this list with your team. If you need help with anything in your business, feel free to reach out to me at anytime by phone or text: 612-208-9434. I am always here and happy to help!

You Were Born To Sparkle

Not everyone is going to understand you, or understand your ways. Not everyone is going to understand your heart, your tenderness, your intentions. Not everyone is going to "get" you. Not everyone is going to appreciate you. Not everyone is going to see you, notice you and recognize you. Not everyone is going support you.

Beautiful friend, don't let ANY of that stop you.

We have to do the things we know to do, the things our hearts ache to do. We have to do those things in the ways that only WE can do them, in the ways that are most authentic & most truth-filled for each of us.

When we do things from a soul-deep place, we must find our validation from the Source of those things -- not from what others on the outside think about what we are doing or how we are doing it.
People who do things from their souls SPARKLE and will attract other SPARKLING people. Let it go if there are those who can't stand the brightness of your sparkle. Shine on. And then shine and shine and shine.

You were BORN to shine, you were born to sparkle.

Here is Chapter 2 of Spirit Driven Success.

Feel free to share with your team! If there is anything that I can do to help you succeed in your business, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at 612-208-9434. I am always here and happy to help!

Go out and SPARKLE today!

You Are Beloved

Our thoughts hold SO MUCH POWER...

...and each of us is completely responsible for what we allow ourselves to focus on or think about or believe.

No matter how much another person may tell us wonderful things about ourselves, it will never make a difference if we do not allow ourselves to receive it and believe it. Everything starts with our own thoughts.

When we allow ourselves to think that we are less than others, or that we are insignificant or unimportant….that is how we behave in all areas of our life. We then begin to accept behavior from others that is consistent with those beliefs…our whole life is shaped around those thoughts.

When we behave as if we are beloved (because we are)…our whole life is shaped around THAT belief. We only accept behavior that is consistent with being beloved. We dream dreams that are consistent with being beloved…and most importantly….we treat ourselves as if we are beloved.

YOU are beloved. We all are. Please believe it and please shape your life around that truth, dear friend. Life will meet you at that place of truth….and everything will change from there.

Here is a quick 20 minute call on Thoughts and Spirit Driven Success!

Please feel free to share this with your team! If I can help you in your business in any way, please reach out to me at 612-208-9434, I am always here and happy to help :)

Remember, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, SUCCESSFUL AND BELOVED!

8 Tips for Becoming an Effective Leader

No matter where you are in your career, it's never too early or too late to start or continue to develop your leadership skills. Leadership is often described as a set of skills that can be enhanced and trained. Inspired by my work with helping business owners advance, here are eight tips for being an effective leader:

1. Learn to lead by example.

A good leader is one who leads by example and does what they expect everyone else to do. If you expect your team to be hard workers, then you should be a hard worker too. By practicing what you preach, you earn the respect and loyalty of your team, and before long, you'll see that they're following your example.

2. Be goal-oriented.

Instead of focusing on the problem at hand, an effective leader instead directs attention toward the solution. Instead of worrying and complaining about the issues, they focus on the objectives and then turn their energies toward creating a plan and strategy to achieve those objectives. An effective leader prioritizes so they can get the most important and urgent things done first.

3. Take responsibility.

Instead of pointing fingers and playing the blame game when things go wrong, a good leader takes responsibility for the team's actions and their consequences. By being willing to take responsibility, you prove that you're worthy of trust and respect.

4. Share the glory.

We've probably all had a boss who took all the credit for the team's hard work and success, right? This is not an effective leader. An effective leader is one who is team-oriented and more than happy to share the glory and credit for a job well done with the team. They admit that the success and achievements are due to the team's joint efforts. A leader is only as good as the team behind them. By sharing the glory, an effective leader can earn the admiration and respect of the team. After all, no one wants to follow a selfish leader.

5. Know how to develop a team.

One of the primary traits of an effective leader is the ability to develop team members through training, teaching or coaching. The team will not be able to achieve the goals of the organization without this training.
An effective leader can build people up and create a stronger team, which benefits everyone involved. They can do this because they pay attention to the strengths and weaknesses of the team as a whole, as well as those of each team member. They have excellent communication skills, which they can use to build relationships with and among team members. By building good interteam relationships, they create a greater level of productivity.

6. Become a master of communication.

Excellent communication skills are necessary to become an effective leader. However, communication is not just about expressing what you want to happen -- it's also about being able to truly listen to others. An effective leader not only expresses their ideas and strategies persuasively and clearly but also truly listens to feedback with an open mind.

7. Be courageous and assertive.

In many cases, the leader of a team has to venture into new territory, which means they have to face the unknown and take risks or break rules. In order to do this, a leader must be able to speak up about the things that truly matter and be assertive about what they need and want from their team and for their team. An effective leader is willing and ready to face any challenges and obstacles so they can achieve their own goals and the goals of the organization.

8. Be confident.

Projecting confidence is probably the most difficult characteristic to develop. Some people are naturals when it comes to this, but you can develop a greater sense of self-assurance. Part of this confidence is having faith and feeling secure in yourself and not needing to be accepted and loved by others, as well as being able to prove that you have the competencies and the skills to be an effective leader and to lead the team to its common goal.

My prayer for becoming a great leader:  I was never sure I wanted to be a leader, I never had a plan to lead people or build a business, but here I am! It becomes more and more clear as I build my business, the more leading I am required to do. And the more I lead, the more people are watching. And the more people are watching, makes it clear how much I need you Lord. If you don't show me how to build my business and lead my team, I will mess it up! I need help making decisions, navigating and developing my team members. Lord, teach me to be a good leader! You are the best leader of them all! Remind me to run all my decisions through the filter of your word first. Help me to lead powerfully and purposefully. Help me have great team members because I have led well and I have led through you! Amen

1Corinthians 11:1 Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

2Timothy 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved,a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

“Nothing so conclusively proves a man’s ability to lead others, as what he does from day to day to lead himself.” - Thomas J. Watson, Former Chairman of IBM

“The three most important ways to lead people are:... by example... by example... by example.” - Albert Schweitzer

“Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion.” - Jack Welch

“A leader leads by example whether he intends to or not” - Steve Jobs

No matter where you are in your career, it's never too late to learn how to be an effective leader. I hope these tips will help you to become an amazing leader! Feel free to share with your team. If you have any questions or need help with anything in your business, please feel free to reach out to me by call or text at 612-208-9434. I am always here and always happy to help :)

Why do people join, stay and quit?

If you are a in a home business, you know that recruiting and retention are the lifeblood of the business. What factors make companies successful and the distributors successful? Of course, a competitive compensation plan is a given. But, some very helpful industry studies have been done and there are some real pearls of wisdom in the results that should be taken to heart and clearly demonstrate that consultants stay with the company because “it is not just the money” after all.

Why Do People Join?
You might think that the main reason to join is for the money, but believe it or not, that is number four, five and number six on the list.

1. Number one on the list in the studies is that people join because they like and believe in the product;
2. Second on the list is, “I like being my own boss”;
3. Third, “I like working from home”;
4. Fourth, “The harder I work, the more I make.”

Again, earning extra income is obviously important, but it would be a mistake to ignore the “intangible” factors that pull people into the business.

Why Do People Stay?
Company owners and distributor leaders are always asking, “Why do our representatives stay with us and what can we do to support their retention?” On a list of the top five factors, take a look at where earnings comes in… number five, and then think about what you are doing.

The top five reasons that distributors stay:
1. A favorable response to the products;
2. They relate to the leadership, management and owners of the company;
3. They relate to the leadership of the sales force, i.e., the top distributors and their sponsors;
4. They relate to the vision of the company. If it’s about women’s empowerment or about health, they relate to it; if it is about helping households save money to create a better life, they relate to this vision;
5. And maybe you will be surprised… or not… but the fifth ranked reason that distributors stay with companies is “earnings.” Go figure.

Why do People Leave?
Finally, one of the industry’s leading direct selling companies pondered the issue of the departure of its distributors. So much so, that the company conducted a series of “exit” interviews with distributors.

Again, although money is important, the answers demonstrated the glue of the company-distributor connection as relationship-driven. Almost across the board, the answer was “communication,” or lack thereof. Consultants need to feel that somebody is responding to them, that they are communicating with them. If consultants feel ignored and this is true in every realm of business, they vote with their feet and they leave.
The following factors were disclosed as leading to departure:
  1. Poor Communication;
  2. Inferior Support;
  3. Inadequate Leadership;
  4. Lack of Training.
What Can We Learn as Companies and Distributors?
Of course, the necessity of a competitive compensation opportunity goes without saying. After all, home based business are a business opportunity. With that in mind, however, the driving force that bonds us all is quality product and attention to relationships. Actually, this should come as no surprise. The takeaway here, get plugged into your team's training, do some kind of personal development daily and surround yourself with like minded people. One thing I have always done in the almost 10 years of being in my home business, is treat my customers and team members the way I want to be treated. What kind of training do I need, what kind of coach do I need? And then I provide my team with that.

My pray for people who are joining, staying or leaving: People come and people go. Father, help me to not take it personally. Help me to see all sides of the equation, and if there is an area that I can improve on, please help me to see that. I pray that you would let me be a part of someone else's success, and because I have been brave, help them to be brave and courageous in their en devours as well. Please help me to represent you, even when I have been blindsided or hurt by the people who have worked for me. Help me to cut down turnover by hiring like minded people right from the start. Help me to find the right people for my team, who join my team for the right reasons and who will stay with me for the long haul. And if I have people on my team who are not for me, I pray that you will help them to move out of my business and onto something better suited for them. My business is only as good as my team. I pray for strong, like minded, encouraging people to join my team! Amen

Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

Hebrews 13:5 I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Deut 31 : 8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

“Somebody once said that in looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if you don’t have the first, the other two will kill you. You think about it; it’s true. If you hire somebody without [integrity], you really want them to be dumb and lazy.” ― Warren Buffett

“A bad attitude from a chronic complaining employee is like a cancer; it will only spread and infect others. This can take your business down in a nanosecond. You must cut out the cancer and invite them to seek employment elsewhere. Quickly.” - Beth Ramsay

“If you wanna hire great people and have them stay working for you, you have to be run by ideas, not hierarchy. The best ideas have to win, otherwise good people don't stay.” ―Steve Jobs

Appreciate Where Your Business Is

Why isn't my business growing as fast as I want it to? Why isn't growing as fast as other people who are in the same business? Does is feel like your business is growing by inches instead of feet?

If you want to break the cycle of feeling unaccomplished and unfulfilled, it's time to start focusing on what matters: you. You’ve been focusing your energy on the wrong things. If you are worried about others, you are not focused on yourself. I know this all too well because that used to be me. I would look to see what everyone else was doing and how they were doing it. I would spend my time watching what other business and relationship coaches were marketing and branding. But I realized I was wasting time worrying about everyone else and wasn't focusing enough on me.

After trying to be them for so long, I decided to give me a try. I started to believe I was just as good or better doing it my way. I embraced my own unique story, products and content, and I didn’t feel the need to copy anyone. You have to shine with your own tools and information and trust that you are enough. If you keep looking back, you will more than likely miss what's right in front of you. Stop comparing yourself to other people. You could go further if you focused on your own unique gifts, rather than getting stuck on what others do better than you. It’s time to stop comparing and start doing.

You got where you are today on your own merit, so you don’t need to worry about anyone else. Once you can let go of what’s holding you back, you'll be ready to be a BOSS:

B — Be yourself. Stop trying to be like other people. Play up your own strengths and not your weaknesses.

O — Opportunities are all around you, but you don’t see them when you’re too busy trying to be like someone else. Keep your eyes open.

S — Strengths are what you should focus on. The main reason people don’t get acknowledged or appreciated for what they do in business is that they are constantly trying to do things they are not good at or are trying to make it seem like they can do everything when they truly can’t.

S — Security is vital. You must be secure in who you are. You were born to be original with your own fingerprint, your own thoughts, your own creativity and your own devices -- so, stop being a copycat. You have everything you need inside of yourself, but you are too afraid to let it shine. Now is the time to change that.

My prayer for today: Heavenly Father, as I am waiting for growth, help me to not look around and compare my business to others'. Give me patience, help me to trust your process. I want to appreciate everything you have done for my business. Help me to fully appreciate right where I am and help me to see in my mind where I am headed. Like a captain steers his ship, please guide me Lord, steer me in that direction. Remind me that you are with me every step of the way. Help me to do what I need through you to see this business prosper. Let me be grateful every step of the way, because I know that you will move and elevate my business to where you want it. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen

Isaiah 54:2-3 – Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back;lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out of the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” - John F. Kennedy

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.” - Melody Beattie

Who is Your Ideal Client?

Every entrepreneur should be intensely focused on his or her prospective customers. The ability to find a customer, sell your product or service to that customer, and satisfy the customer so that he buys from you again should be the central focus of all entrepreneurial activity. The greater clarity you have with regard to your ideal customer, the more focused and effective your marketing efforts will be.
Everyone is in the business of customer satisfaction in some way. The most important activity of any entrepreneur is to clearly identify the very best customers for your product or service, and then focus all marketing, advertising and sales efforts on this particular type of customer.

Here are some tips to help you find your business's ideal customers:
1. Define your product or service from the customer's point of view. What does your product do for your ideal customer? What problems does your product solve for your customer? What needs of your customer does your product satisfy? How does your product improve your customer's life or work? 2. Define the ideal customer for what you sell. What is his or her age, education, occupation or business? What is his or her income or financial situation? What is his or her situation today in life or work?
3. Determine the specific benefits your customer is seeking in buying your product. Of all the benefits you offer, which are the most important to your ideal customer? What are the most pressing needs that your product or service satisfies? Why should your customer buy from you rather than from someone else?
4. Determine the location of your exact customer. Where is your customer located geographically? Where does your customer live or work? Where is your customer when he or she buys your product or service?
5. Determine exactly when your ideal customer buys your product or service. What has to happen in the life or work of your customer for him to buy your product? What time of year, season, month or week does your customer buy?
6. Determine your customer's buying strategy. How does your customer buy your product or service? How has your customer bought similar products or services in the past? What is your customer's buying strategy? How does your customer go about making a buying decision for your product?
Imagine placing an ad in the newspaper for your perfect customer. How would you describe your perfect customer? What prospective customers are the most likely to buy your product or service immediately? What are the most important qualities that your ideal customer would have?

Your ability to clearly define and determine the very best customer for your product or service will determine your success in business. How could you find more perfect customers for your product? How could you create new customers for your product? Define your unique selling proposition and communicate this key benefit in every customer contact.

Most entrepreneurs aren't clear about their ideal customer. For this reason, they waste a lot of time and money trying to sell their product to people who aren't good potential customers.

Your ability to clearly define and focus in on the customers who can most rapidly buy your product or service will be essential to your business success.

My prayer for today: Thank you Father for giving me people who understand my entrepreneurial spirit because they have it to. Being around people who think like I do, energizes me. Please continue to bring me people who think outside the box, and, who encourage me to think a little harder and dig a little deeper. Thank you for my business cheerleaders, my support team, my customers, and my team members. Please continue to help me find people who make me want to do better and better. Would you not only bring like minded people to bless me but also help me to be a blessing to other like minded people. Thank you for giving me other entrepreneur's to link arms with. In Your Name I pray, Amen

Prayer for Distractions in Your Business

Being a business owner comes with endless pressure on my time. Appointments, jobs, paperwork, clients, team members, the list goes on and on. There are days when I feel like the work will never be done and no matter what, I will never be caught up. On days like that, I am tempted to get discouraged and give up.

Here is my prayer for today: Heavenly Father, when I am feeling tempted to give up and am discouraged, help me to stop and breathe. Please give me create ways to manage my time. Stretch my hours in my workday so that I am able to complete everything that I need to during my work time. I don't want to be a workaholic so please help me to manage my calendar and all that you need me to do. Lord, help me to stay focused when I need to be in full work mode. Help me to turn off all the distractions, like social media and other time suckers that keep me from doing what needs to be done. Without you in the middle of my time, I work aimlessly and get nothing done. Would you be ever present in my work day so that I can accomplish all that I need to. I want every minute of my time to glorify you Lord! I want to get all my work done so that I can concentrate on all the non working parts of my life. I want to honor you with my time. Help me to set boundaries. Help me to make better decisions with my time. Help me to overcome distractions and concentrate. I need you desperately in this area! In your name I pray, Amen

Ps 31: 14-15 But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands;deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.

Eph 5 15-17 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

Love, Serve, Prayer in Your Business

It's been awhile since my last post. I am excited to be back and going to continue sharing tips and tricks when it comes to marketing. I am also going to share some scriptures as I grow closer to the Lord and invite Him into my business. I hope you welcome Him into your as well!

It is scary to try to price products and services. If they are priced to high, they won't sell. And I feel bitter when I under price myself. Help me to find a happy medium. Help me to make a fair living from a fair product and by providing a fair service. Help me to know exactly who to market my service to so that price is not an issue. Help me to be profitable. I know you give us the wisdom and talent to gain wealth, Lord. Help me to heed your instruction and glorify you with the income my business makes. Amen

Cor. 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Tim 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

“Pricing is actually a pretty simple and straight forward thing. Customers will not pay literally a penny more than the true value of the product.” – Ron Johnson

“Charge what you are worth and do not apologize” – unknown

If you don’t value your time, neither will others. Stop giving away your time and talents. Value what you know and start charging for it” –quotenor.com

I hope this helped you, feel free to share it with your team! If you have any questions or need help with anything in your business, please feel free to reach me at 612-208-9434. I am always here and happy to help!
